A horrible bill known as the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 or HR 4241 passed under cover of darkness in the wee hours of the morning. This bill cuts funding to vital services. It will specifically increase the interest rates on student loans. It cuts about 50 billion from food stamps and medicare programs. This bill was passed at approximately 2:00 a.m. Nov. 18. The vote was 217 to 215. No Dems voted for this reverse robinhood bill. Jean Schmidt, Steve Chabot, and John Boehner all voted with the Republicans for the cuts.

I may look this bill up and see if I can see the whole list of the cuts.
I am not sure "reverse robinhood" makes sense.. I'd like your logic for calling it that.
Go Bengals!

"This bill never became law.
This bill was proposed in a previous session of Congress. Sessions of Congress last two years, and at the end of each session all proposed bills and resolutions that haven't passed are cleared from the books."
