I could care less now. Honestly, the only one I was going for was Alicia, but that was even kind of a so-so thought. I think between the two our best bet is Mallory, but for me at least, between the two is now which is the lesser of two evils...

Senator Mallory is clearly light years ahead of Councilman Pepper in his expierenence as a statesman and politition. It seems that this racw has come down to one thing; and one thing alone;race. White voters will vote for a less qualified candidate based solely on race. this will be a close race just like the last presidential election.

Pepper is a gutless wonder! David Pepper has displayed today that he is not fit to lead this city. He never answered the question about his endorsements. That tells me that he believes in and will incorporate a "double standard" in his administration of this city. While listening to the program I went to his website and encourage people to do the same. His plan would bring incarceration, gentrification, and a return to business as usual. And never addresses the underlying factors that bring long term results. I have watched City Hall closely for years. Since his arrival there HE has been an irritant. He displayed today that he is divisive. I know that HE has been at the root of quite a bit of the infighting and bickering that has occurred on Council. Now that we have disposed of another irritating factor down there (Ms. Reece), I feel it is imperative that we do some housecleaning. Dr. Pepper I hope you are next. P.S. Didn't he vote to Tase the Children?

Naz, why do you do that? I'm just curious. I've always wondered why people will take a political affiliation and then only vote for that affiliation without caring what the person stands for. If you had the choice to vote for a republican that said he would rape women and kill children, would you vote for him just because he's republican? Or would you vote for the democrat who said he'd just be a politician?

Pepper should have won. Would have made a better mayor.

If Pepper should have won, he would have won. People saw through his negative campaigning and didn't vote him in. He would have been the same type of mayor as he was mayoral candidate. . . negative, divisive and ineffective. You haven't gotten that out of your system yet?

wow. such an inteligent response. you may as well have said "get out of here, white guy! no whites allowed!" I can't believe that you would inject race into this conversation. I didn't even know that you were white and I certainly never discussed whites not being allowed. Why do you insist on making everything a race issue? For you to get that out of what I said would mean that you think that all white people are idiots. I don't believe that and, as I said, I didn't know that you were white and I still don't. I just think that YOU are an idiot and that has nothing to do with your skin color it is because you are saying idiotic things. Give the race thing a break unless it is brought up in the conversation idiot. I guess that's the only thing that you had left.

what about Pepper made you not vote for him?

I didn't vote for Pepper because he chose to do negative campaigning. I believe that this city has been divided enough and we didn't need another mayor polarizing the city. Also, I have always had a problem with his "story" about being kidnapped. I believe he has a lot to hide and I simply don't trust his intentions. He seemed to think that because he was "David Pepper" that he deserved to be the mayor. I suppose that you voted for Pepper and, because you brought up race, I suppose that you voted for him because he is white.
